Connections third-party services this system relies on, checked automatically
"Working" means the service accepted a real test request. "Off" is normal: that feature is simply not switched on. A failing connection is reported on the owner's home screen and rechecked every 30 minutes. Test results show no keys. Each check is the cheapest real call the service offers; none sends a text or email or moves money.

Needs attention
Nothing needs attention right now.
Problems on the road flood, closure, breakdown, hours, receiver
When a loaded truck meets a problem you are not stuck with "cancel". Pick what fits: wait it out, detour, ask the broker for a later time, send another driver, log a repair or tow, carry on with care. Each option shows its effect on the arrival time and the driver's legal hours before you confirm, and everything is recorded.
Rate & dispatch agreement
Schedule: each driver's next loads planned with the hours-of-service rules
For every driver: what they are doing now, what you reserved for after it, and the best loads to run next, chained so the next one starts where the last one ends. Mandatory rests (30-minute break, 10-hour rest, 34-hour restart) are put into the timeline. Suggestions only: nothing is booked or texted until you approve it.
Dispatch board
ETAs appear when the driver shares a live position through their check-in link (green dot on the map). They are estimates: straight-line distance x 1.2 at 55 mph, no traffic.
Fleet & route map
Click a load on the board, or its line on the map, to see its route, stops and navigation links. Lines are loads (green clear, amber advisory, red severe weather, grey unchecked); straight lines are not road routes unless road routing is switched on. Green dots are trucks sharing a live position; grey dots are not live. Weather: US National Weather Service.
Brokers checked against FMCSA records
A check reads the government record today. It cannot spot a fraudster using a real broker's MC number, so always call the broker back on the number FMCSA lists, and treat any change of payment or contact details as suspicious.
Getting paid invoices owed to you, bank lines, payout rules · owner and accountant only
Match your bank statement
This reads a statement file you download from your bank; the app never connects to your bank and cannot move money. A deposit is matched automatically only when it shows the invoice number and the exact amount; anything else is a suggestion you confirm. Matches can be undone by voiding the payment. Importing the same statement twice changes nothing.
Driver payout rules
Paying a driver here means: request, owner approval, then you pay through your bank's own tools and record the reference. The app does not send money yet. Brokers' payments to a factoring company are not tracked as paid to you until you record them.
Driver pay & settlements owner and accountant only
A statement lists what you owe a driver for loads you delivered, plus advances, charge-backs and reimbursements you add, each on its own described line. It is not payroll: no taxes or withholding are calculated and nothing is paid. You decide whether a driver is an employee or an owner-operator; get that, and any lease terms, confirmed by your attorney or payroll provider (see LEGAL.md). A finalized statement is locked and numbered; to correct it, void it and draft a new one.
Safety & compliance licenses, medical cards, insurance, inspections
You record what the document says and attach the scan; nothing here is verified with any agency. An expired CDL, medical card, registration or annual inspection keeps that driver or truck out of automatic dispatch until it is renewed. Documents you have not entered never block anything. Rules vary by carrier and state, so check what applies to you.
Truck maintenance service, inspections, repairs
Plan service windows so no load is matched to a truck that will be in the shop. A breakdown logged from a load's "Problem" panel appears here too.

Pick a person and press Call. Your phone rings first; when you answer, we connect you and the call shows their name, company and role. Calls use your company number.

Your rates (estimates)
These are numbers you can edit to match your provider's price list. The real charge is whatever your provider bills you; this page is a running estimate. A call through us uses two legs (your phone, then theirs).

Find drivers
Drivers who signed up to be found at /drivers/join. You see first name, last initial and what they reported; contact details unlock only if they accept your invitation. Everything is self-reported: verify it yourself before hiring.

Candidate
You confirm each step yourself and say how. Nothing here is checked by us, and it is not a background-check service. Failed steps stop the hire.
Who looks after which driver
The person assigned to a driver is the first one whose phone rings when that driver calls, and the schedule can be filtered to "only my drivers". Change it here or from any driver in the Schedule.
Brokers: are they legitimate?
Your team
Invoices every delivered load and where its paperwork is
An invoice builds up from confirmations: delivery, the driver's proof of delivery, then the sign-offs your company requires. When they are all in, it is ready to send; the broker gets a link to read, download and approve or dispute it.
Who must sign off before an invoice goes out
Agreements drivers, staff, contractors: everyone
Each person gets an agreement made from your own template, which you can edit by hand. Both sides sign (the company here, the other person in their app or from an emailed link) and a signed PDF is kept. A signature here is a typed name with a recorded agreement. The wording is a starting draft, not legal advice: have a lawyer review it.

Bring brokers onto the board
Invite brokers you already work with. Posting is free for them, and invited brokers skip the approval wait. Your carrier profile is what they see.
A page you can send to brokers: company, MC/DOT, FMCSA self-check, fleet and equipment, insurance expiry. No policy numbers, address or bank details. Owner only.

Branding & signatures how your documents look and how people check them
Logo (PNG or JPG, up to 1 MB)
Company stamp (PNG or JPG, up to 1 MB)
A stamp and signature image are pictures, not a legal electronic signature. Each issued invoice and final pay statement gets a code anyone can look up to confirm the file is exactly the one this system produced.
My profile on documents
Your signature image appears only on pay statements you approve. Only you can upload it. Use a clear photo of your signature on white paper.
Company profile & paperwork
This is what brokers' accounts-payable teams look for on an invoice. Changing remit-to details is recorded in the activity log, because altered payment instructions are the most common invoice fraud. If you continue numbering from an old system, set the next number above your last one; numbers are never reused.
Contract templates drafts for your attorney, not finished legal documents
Profit
Loading…
Costs & fees
Every profit figure = revenue − fuel (today's diesel ÷ MPG) − other cost × miles driven (empty miles included) − fees. "Other cost" covers driver pay, insurance, maintenance and truck payments; the default is an industry average, so replace it with your own. Tolls and lumper fees are not included. Detention is billed per stop after the free hours, from arrival and departure times the driver (or you) record; set the hourly rate to 0 to switch it off.
Salaries & overheads owner enters, accountant reads. Counted in net profit, by the day
A driver paid per mile, percent or per load is already counted on each load from their pay terms (Drivers tab); a driver on salary appears here automatically. A commission with a team member applies to the loads of the drivers they look after. This is arithmetic on what you enter, not payroll or tax advice.
Activity log who changed what (owner only)
Autopilot
By default nothing is booked, assigned or texted to a driver until you approve it under Suggested matches. The second box (owner only) removes that review and is not recommended.
Suggested matches review, then approve. Nothing is sent to a driver before you do.

Driver check-ins
Your plan
Changes take effect straight away. When you move to a different price, the difference is prorated on your next invoice. Cards, invoices and cancelling are under Billing at the top.
Texting and numbers your own provider account and phone number
Drivers are texted from your number and their replies come back to you, so nothing is shared with other companies and your numbers never pass through us. You need a Twilio or Telnyx account with a number (or port yours in). US business texting also needs your own carrier registration (A2P 10DLC or toll-free verification) with the provider; they will walk you through it. We never see your account's billing.
Connect your ELD live truck positions and driving hours, read-only
In your ELD account an admin creates a read-only API token (Samsara: Settings → API tokens, with vehicle locations and driver hours-of-service read access. Motive: Admin → Developers → API key). We only read; nothing is ever changed in your ELD. Trucks match by unit number (the ELD vehicle name must equal your Truck #); drivers by name. Samsara also updates each driver's remaining hours; Motive updates positions only. Positions refresh every couple of minutes; a truck is shown "live" only while its ELD fix is under 30 minutes old.
Team dispatchers work loads; safety managers work compliance records; accountants record payments but change nothing else; observers can look at everything and change nothing (owner only)
