Broker terms for the load board

DRAFT for review by a qualified lawyer before launch. Replace the bracketed items. This is not legal advice.

Last updated: 18 October 2026. These terms apply to brokers and shippers ("you") who post loads on the Di-Spatch load board run by Di-Spatch, Cambridge, United Kingdom ("we", "us").

1. What the board is

A place where you publish loads you have the right to offer, and where carriers and dispatchers who use Di-Spatch can see them and contact you. We provide software only. We are not a broker, carrier or freight forwarder, we are not a party to any agreement between you and a carrier, and we do not hold, move or guarantee freight, payment, insurance or performance.

2. Posting is free

We do not charge for posting. We may introduce paid features later and will give notice before charging for anything that is free today.

3. Your obligations

4. Checks and approval

We check your MC number against FMCSA's records and may approve, limit, hide or suspend your account or any load at our discretion, including after reports from carriers. A check passing is not an endorsement of you, and a carrier is responsible for their own checks. Depending on the data available, a check may confirm only that a company exists, not that its authority or bond is active, and the board says which.

5. What carriers see

Carriers see your company name, MC and DOT numbers, the result of the FMCSA check, your loads, and (once they are signed in) the contact details you give. When a carrier asks about a load we email you their company name, MC and DOT numbers, fleet size, contact details and any insurance dates they have chosen to share. Those are as the carrier entered them; we do not verify them. Check them yourself before you book.

6. Reports and removal

Carriers can report loads. Loads reported by more than one carrier are hidden until reviewed. Repeated reports can lead to your account being suspended.

7. Data

We process your business contact details to run the board, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete your account and posted loads at any time.

8. No warranty; limit of liability

The board is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that loads will be seen, covered or paid, or that any carrier's details are accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to £100. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer or local rights.
